How it works

One push, next tip.

Seven swab cartridges ride in a single column, each in its own paper tube. Try it below: use the front tip, then send it to the back.

Each push moves the whole column forward by one cartridge.

  1. 01Pull off the cap and use the tip.

    A clean cotton swab, ready to go. Tips can be used more than once, depending on the job. Cap it between uses.

  2. 02When a tip is done, pull it out the front and push it into the back.

    Take the back cap off first and put it back on after. The next clean tip moves up.

  3. 03When all seven are used, pull off the back cap.

    Push a fresh stack in from the back.

  4. 04The used stack comes out the front.

    Cap both ends. Sealed until next time.

Can I clean my ears with it?

Yes, the outside. Wipe the ear lobes and the outer ear, up to the entrance of the ear canal. Never push it into the ear canal, where the eardrum is. DEFT is not for medical use.

Can I send it as a gift?

Which refill should I get?

ROUNDED has a rounded tip for wiping, cleanup and wider spots. POINTED tapers to a fine point for tight spots, seams and edges. Both fit the same tool, and the box comes with one tool loaded with each.

What happens to the used tips?

Highly absorbent tips can be used more than once, depending on the job. The cap keeps a tip clean between uses. When one is done, it goes into the back of the tool, so the next clean tip moves up to the front. You never reach past a used tip to get a fresh one.
