Who we are

deftgoods.com is run by Deft Goods LLC, a Colorado limited liability company ("DEFT", "we", "us"). By using this site or placing an order, you agree to these terms, our shipping policy, returns policy and privacy policy.

Who can buy

You must be at least 18, or have a parent or guardian place the order, and have a US shipping address.

Using our products safely

The DEFT Pocket Swab is a portable cotton swab tool for tech, detail work and makeup, at home or on the go.

• Do not insert into the ear canal.
• Keep away from children.
• Not for medical use.
• Cap a tip between uses, and stop using it if it irritates your skin.

Prices and availability

Prices are in US dollars. Shipping is free on orders of $15 or more; other orders ship for a flat $7.10. Sales tax is added where it applies and is shown before you pay. We try to keep every price and description accurate. If we find an error in an order you placed, we'll contact you before shipping, and you can confirm the corrected order or cancel it for a full refund.

Refill offers

In an order without a tool box, refills are buy 2, get 1 free: every third refill box is free. ROUNDED and POINTED count together, and the lower-priced boxes are the free ones. In an order with a tool box, every refill box and every tool box after the first is $10, and no refill box is free on top of that. Both come off in your cart and are shown before you pay.

Orders

After you order, we email you a confirmation. We may cancel an order before it ships, for example if a product is unavailable or a payment looks fraudulent. If we do, we refund you in full.

Payment

We accept major credit and debit cards. Card payments are processed by our payment processor over an encrypted connection; we never see or store your full card number. Charges appear on your statement as DEFT GOODS.

When you pay by card, our payment processor saves the card for our store. For 5 minutes after you pay, the thank-you page can add refills or tool boxes to the same order in one tap; they ship in the same box. We charge a saved card only when you tap to add something.

Fitz, our AI assistant

Fitz answers questions about products, orders, shipping and refills. Fitz is automated and can make mistakes, so please check important details, like amounts and dates, before you confirm anything. Fitz never charges you or changes an order without your confirmation. You can always reach a person at support@deftgoods.com.

Using this site

Please use the site lawfully. Don't try to break into it, overload it, copy it automatically, or misuse it. The site's text, photos, designs, the DEFT name and logo, and the product designs belong to Deft Goods LLC. The Pocket Swab is patent pending.

Warranty and liability

We stand behind what we sell: if a product arrives damaged or defective, our returns policy covers a replacement or refund. To the extent the law allows, products are provided as described on this site, without other warranties, and our total responsibility for any claim about a product is limited to the amount you paid for it. Some states don't allow these limits, so they may not apply to you. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under the law that can't be waived.

Disputes

If something goes wrong, please email support@deftgoods.com first; most problems can be fixed quickly. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado. Any dispute will be handled in the state or federal courts located in Denver, Colorado, except that either of us may bring a claim in small claims court where it qualifies.

Changes

We may update these terms. The date at the top shows the latest version, and the terms in effect when you place an order apply to that order.
